Retarded people will back anything

So I'm pretty freaking pissed about something that hits home for me.  Being a scientist, yes incase your reading this and you don't know me, I'm a real scientist with a Ph.D in immunology from Johns Hopkins University, not some schmo who read something online and think I'm an expert.  

So now that I've prefaced this, my issue is these fucking people who are against vaccines, oh vaccines cause autism, the cause this, they cause that.  Goddam movie stars, and yuppie soccer moms who read something on ladies home journal online or some other bull shit website about autism and are all up in arms about vaccines being bad for little johnny.  First of all let me tell you about vaccines, vaccines are probably one of the top five greatest medical discoveries ever!  This is no exaggeration, do you know how many people died of small pox in the 20th century?  500 fucking million, yeah 500 million.  Do you know how many have died since 1980? Not a one!  Do you know why?  Because vaccination irradicated it, freaking irradicated it!  How about measles, 200,000 kids world wide die of this every year.  I know what your thinking, weird I don't know anyone who has had measles, yeah you know why?  Because your immunized and don't have to worry about it, unfortunately not all third world countries are and most kids who get it either die or go blind, feel lucky your immunized.  

  There is absolutely, positively no data to support vaccines causing autism, in fact being an immunologist the idea makes scientifically no sense.  A vaccine is not some super high tech chemical or drug, I'll tell you what it is.  

Lets say you want to immunize some one against rabies.  What you do is isolate some rabies virus in a test tube, boil it, irradiate it and completely kill it, then inject this dead, non-pathogenic tube of lysed crap into someone.  What happens is you get a minor immunological response to it, because thats what your immune system is supposed to do.  Your T cells become specifically activated to rabies, expand up and then contract and mostly die since there really isn't an infection.  However a very small percentage of your T cells specific for rabies live for basically ever, and if you ever do get rabies for real they respond super fast and destroy it before it can expand enough to hurt you, shit you may have got measles in your life but wouldn't know it because those immunized T cells did their job.  People who were immunized as a kid have had T cell responses 50 years later, those T cells sat there that long and then did their job.  Tell me thats not freaking awesome.   Now if you didn't get immunized and get rabies, your non specific innate immune system tries to keep it at bay while your t cells need to be found and expanded (about a week), and for most people its too late by the time they are ready and the virus has gone crazy and you either die or get lucky and only go deaf or blind.  I choose immunization.  

Do you know where this this bullshit autism vaccination link came from?  Some fucking epidimiologist (spelling?) looked at a ridiculous amount of data in excel and said "huh, it looks like theres a higher incidence of autism in nations that have more vaccinations"  Yeah well these also probably a higher incidence of autism in nations that have more fast food, porn theaters, pro sports and crack, doesn't mean they cause it!  The CDC did a comprehensive study and determined that their is no connection between vaccines and autism, and that wasn't published in the ladies home journal, but rather a peer reviewed publication called The Journal of the American Medical Association"  I think I will take their opinion over you editor at People, or wherever the fuck else you read it.  

    So people with your bumper stickers talking shit on vaccines or even I was told there was a sign in a chiropractors office against vaccines that someone saw, read some actually relevant, scientifically based publications, education yourselves and immunize your god damn kids.  And if your too stupid to do this then go up in a mountain and die somewhere!

 

  

Way to go obama

So our new president is wasting no time reversing the damage our previous retard has done. Today he reversed the ban on stem cell research put in place by Bush and his panel of right wing religions morons. You still can't use federal money to derive new lines however you have the ability to use many more lines which have been derived privately, which is a major advancement to government scientists. Hopefully, Obama can convince the congress to allow government funding to support the generation of new lines, but I doubt even he can do that.

This is great, less than two months and he's already rectified a major bush fuck up. And I hope he keeps going. We need to eliminate the religious influence that's been creeping more an more into our government. We were founded on separation of church and state and for some freakin reason in my lifetime all I have seen is religious influence making its way into every important decision in this country and pushing out all rational logical thought.

So keep going Obama, next lets permit gay marraige in all states and abortion too. Its not even that I'm a huge supporter of gay marraige or abortion I just want to stick it to those right wing, super conservative, brain washed, moronic, christian, holier than thou assholes. If you don't want to except gay marraige in your religion thats your choice, its a private institution, but since when did that have anything to do with law. The goverment has a responsibility to protect our rights, the rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, since when does allowing two people, or shit a guy and his freaking dog to get married hinder on any one of those rights? Worry about your own life, not everyone elses. Roll on Obama, roll on!

Also I want to be able to buy alcohol on sunday everywhere!

Why music fans today piss me off

So music today pisses me off, and you know why? Too many god damn washed up bands putting out music that is a fraction of the quality it was back in their hayday. And do you know what pisses me off even fucking more? you american consumer buying this shit!!! Your impeding the progress of music! Why do you say? Well, for every washed up band who's album your buying thats one less new band your keeping from getting signed! Oh and you say but its new u2 or new stones or new pearl jam. u2 hasn't put out an original album that didn't suck in a decade! They've been playing the same god damn mother fucking song for 8 years! The stones have sucked for 20 years!

The problem is you give exceedingly too much credit to bands from the past. I've experienced it first hand. 98 rock used to have a night time bit where they would do love it or shove it. Basically they play a new song, no artist names no nothing, and you call in and say whether you love it or shove it. Depending on the outcome, they continue to play the song or never play it again. They would play all sorts of stuff alot of it sucked and people would start shoving it, then some jackass would call in and say " oh its the new ozzy, or pearl jam or whatever" and all of the sudden everyone one and their sister fucking loves it, nothing has changed except now all of the sudden the song doesn't suck so bad since its whoever the fuck.

Well fucking stop it! Stop giving credibility when its not due, perhaps if you didn't buy the new/same fucking u2 album for the last 10 years they would have to put something together that didn't suck or they would just give it up. I know your probably saying oh, you just don't like u2 or the stones or whoever. No! I admired the quality of the music they were putting out in their day and think they would have going down as a groundbreaking band if they would have hung it up when they should of, now they are hurting their own reputation and just pissing me off.

So people please, stop buying this shit! Judge what you hear with a blind eye, no advanced consideration. Hopefully if we all do this classic bands will start putting out good music again and stop riding their wave from a decade ago. Or maybe they will just hang it up when they should like bands with some class like Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin. Fuckin stones and u2 just die already.

Recession could be good

So I saw the first sign that the recession could be good for our country, as I have predicted several times in a drunken stupor.

oh no, 150 miles to a charge and 0-60 in 8 sec. Yeah thats right an electric car that works well. Is it a coincidence that this car is now available and the auto industry is in the shitter? Nope, as we've all known these rich bitches have been supressing this thing for decades.

So I'm sorry to all the people losing their jobs because of the economy, just know that progress can be made now since the only way to really make progess in the right direction is to hit the pocket book of the fat cats. So I'm sure this is not happening for the right reason, but at least its happening.

Future whores

allright, its been a while, basically I had to organize my thoughts and decide what pissed me off enough to talk about first. So here goes:

You know what I'm tired of seeing, freaking teenage girls dressed like whores. I know that you know what I'm talking about, too much makeup, too short a skirt, too low a neck line, etc. I think the thing that pisses me off the most is the writing. If your under eighteen I don't want to see anything written on your chest or your ass, and you know what I'm talking about. I'm not saying don't wear your high school hoodie with its name on the front, I'm saying don't wear your tit showing, two sizes too small tiny shirt with "sexy", or "too hot" or what ever else prose you want to express that says I'm stupid and have low self esteem. And your ass should never be a banner! period!

Everyone wants to say, oh its the media and movies and TV telling these easily influenced girls they have to look like that, well maybe and maybe video games is an excuse for shooting up your school. But bottom line the ones at fault are parents, do your fucking job. Parents need to realize that there are many, many, many horny males walking around staring at your young girls dressed like whores and if you watch the news you'll realize that more and more of them are attacking these young future whores. Is it your fault or your young future whores fault, no, however why temp the horny male? Could he still steal her away and violate her if she wasn't dressed like a whore, yeah of course, however I don't think hes going to notice as easily if her tits aren't in his face and whore isn't written across her ass.

As importantly, don't let your young future whore dress like this because maybe, just maybe she'll realize that she is an attractive interesting person for what she has in her brain, and perhaps she won't be swayed to use her t and a to make her way through life, yeah I'm talking about you girls next door, fucking whores.

Why Obama is good for me

So this is my first official blog, i've always been against these but since several of my friends are doing it and apparently I'm a freaking sheep these days joining facebook and now blogging I figure why not.

So I just want to say why I'm all for Obama and even more why his presidency is good for me as an american. So I used to follow politics when I was younger, I really wanted to know what was going on in this country at all levels. But ever since I was in the army first under clinton and then under that guy who I will refer to as "that ignorant prick" everything I have seen done has just first pissed me off and second made me lose all faith in the future of this country. I mean I reached the point where all I wanted to do was finish school and leave this country because I thought it was all over for us.

But I have to say, since I've been following Obama's campaign and now his election, which I still can't believe, that (a) he got elected and (b) some stupid redneck didn't assasinate him, I'm really excited about our executive branch and even more our future. I've started reading the white house website updates and ny times to see what he's doing everyday and this is the way things should be. I shouldn't be afraid to see what our president is doing to our future as I have been for more than a decade.

So overall I want to say that I'm back USA. Obamas election day is the proudest I've been in our countries history since my birth, way to elect the right person. I don't expect things to change in Obamas term, but as long as I see things done that will make things 20 years from now better I'm happy.
